At what age were you the happiest? What triggered such joy?
I’m the happiest now, 63. I’m healthy. We’ve got a nice home with an orchard. It’s a beautiful place in a beautiful part of the country. I don’t need to go anywhere to find a retreat; it’s all right here at home. I am in a position to help people with their struggles both emotionally and physically (usually my kids). I love what I’m doing, writing the stories I’ve always wanted to write. I love that I’ve developed my artistic skills.
What is the number one lie you tell yourself? How is that working out?
Well, I tell myself a lot of things. That I’m important, that I’m not important. There’s a lot of ups and downs in my self talk but not really any ONE thing…I’m better off not telling myself anything!
When was the last time you felt alive? I mean really alive!
This afternoon walking in the woods!
What is the worst advice you have ever given someone?
Probably shouldn’t talk about that time.
What is the one thing, good or bad, you wish you could have said to a former boyfriend/girlfriend? Why didn’t you? Don’t worry he/she probably won’t read this.
It’s been a long time since I had a former boyfriend!
Who is your favorite author, and how did they inspire you to write?
I love C.S. Lewis. I love how he reaches for simple truth and wisdom
If there was one author you could meet with and learn from, who would that be?
